Super powerful and dynamic Bosch Performance Line CX e-drive
Thanks to the efficient Bosch Performance Line CX system, you can ride more trails in the same time. The powerful e-drive with a torque of up to 85 Nm makes sure uphill with the JAM² 6.7 is fun as well. Even though the motor has got your back on climbs, you can still easily control your full-suspension bike, also in toughest conditions. The slide-out battery with 625 Wh can be charged via the integrated charging port at the bike’s seat tube. Alternatively, you can also remove the battery easily and fast. There is no need for any tools. Just unlock the buckle and open the cover to slide out the battery.
Geometry for maximum fun on all types of trails
Battery and drive unit are perfectly integrated into the e-MTB’s frame giving the JAM² 6.7 a slim look. Further, the battery is placed as low as possible into the down tube. This frame design improves the bike’s centre of gravity and makes the full suspension bike more stable on descents. The balanced geometry adds up to the e-MTB’s stability. All key dimensions are evaluated carefully to match the bike’s purpose and ensure fun on all trails. The low stand-over height improves bike handling in technical terrain. By turning the headset cups, you can easily change the head angle of your JAM² 6.7 according to your riding preferences from 65.5° to 64.5°.
Full control in any situation
When optimising the F.O.L.D. (FOCUS Optimised Linkage Design) of the JAM² 6.7, it was extremely important to Focus to create responsive kinematics and suspension for absolute control – whether it’s a technical or flow trail, no matter if you go up or down. Wide and tacky 29″ tyres improve traction on every surface, while you can always rely on strong brakes. Thanks to great brake modulation, you can reduce your speed precisely and with high confidence.
The JAM² Family
The downhill-oriented geometry of the new JAM² is more dedicated than ever to having fun on the trail. The chainstay is 30 mm shorter, imparting greater manoeuvrability, while the 1°-shallower steering angle and 20 mm-longer reach ensure smoother riding over rough terrain. And it is all supported with a 625 Wh battery capacity. Even more aggressive, even more agile, even more trails.
Technologies
FOCUS OPTIMIZED LINKAGE DESIGN F.O.L.D.
F.O.L.D. stands for FOCUS Optimised Linkage Design, and offers the ultimate in rear suspension. The patented F.O.L.D. kinematics make it possible to optimise the rear triangle for an extremely wide range of different requirements: F.O.L.D. is extremely sensitive while being progressive enough to prevent a harsh bottom out. Focus has updated F.O.L.D. for the model year 2020. The chainstay is now more rigid, without forgoing the proven advantages of F.O.L.D.. How does that work? The guidelink now moves in the mainlink and it now consists of two components, screwed together. It is more rigid, because the forces exerted are now channelled directly through the link and no longer via the bridge. The integration of the guidelink also means that the linkage is more streamlined. The damper is now on the head, guaranteeing perfect kinematics and low weight with the new design.
COCKPIT INTEGRATION SOLUTION C.I.S.
C.I.S. stands for Cockpit Integration Solution and summarizes all internal cable routing on the cockpits of our road, gravel and mountain bikes. We developed several C.I.S. stems specifically to the needs of the bike category, f.e. an aero stem for the IZALCO MAX or a super short stem for our mountain bikes. They all have in common that they route all cables through stem and headset into the frame while still providing perfect functionality for both electronic and mechanical shifting. As a result, your cockpit looks super clean and the cables are protected internally.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the resulting persistent disturbances in global supply chains, the illustrations and equipment information may differ from the actual bicycles.
The manufacturer reserves the right to replace components with components of equal quality.
